This is a very long overdue post. Last month, my Vivaci Tokyo team finally held our second event at TRUNK(HOTEL) on the theme of sustainability and the environment. This post will mainly be a quick recap with a majority of the post being photos.
この記事は１ヶ月前にアップするはずだったのが、もう既に11月末・・・先月、Vivaci Tokyo第２回のイベントをTRUNK(HOTEL)で開催することができました。今回のテーマは「環境」と「サステナビリティ」。写真多めのイベントまとめ記事になります！
Just to recap on what Vivaci Tokyo is all about:
Vivaci Tokyo a new playground showcasing the lifestyles and work ethics of leading inspirational figures within the fashion, music, and art scene. A derivative of La Fondue Tokyo, an initiative providing promotional platforms for the local underground scene, and the Italian legwear brand Calzedonia, we focus on promoting a diverse and all-inclusive environment where pioneers and their successors come to share, learn and grow in unity.
Our last event was on female & LGBTQ+ empowerment, and we also showcased an interview video featuring leading figures in Japan and overseas on the topic. Since sustainability is a huge topic now, we wanted to do our second event to spread awareness on the environment and how to lead a more sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle. Japan is finally catching onto the movement -Starbucks and other eateries/venues haven’t implemented paper straws, and more sustainable/ethical fashion brands are emerging within the Japanese market, which is a great step in the right direction. We hope that the event and the interview video will further educate people in Japan and the rest of the world on the importance of sustainability.
Vivaci Tokyoを簡単に説明すると、東京のアンダーグラウンドシーンを発信し続けるイベントで⼈気のLa Fondue Tokyoと、イタリアのレッグウェアブランドのCALZEDONIAが、コラボレーションして⽣まれたコンセプチュアルなイベントです。ファッション、音楽、アートシーンの最先端で活躍されている人たちのライフスタイルをショーケースする新しいコンセプトのイベントでは、オールインクルーシブで参加者皆さんがシェアし、学び、共に成長できるような環境を作れるよう心がけています。
去年の第一回のイベントは女性とLGBTQ＋エンパワーメントをテーマにしたイベントで、ポップアップスペースではこのトピックについてインタビューした、日本や海外を代表する方々の動画をイベント中流しました。今は日本でもどんどん話題になっている環境問題やサステナビリティをテーマとしたイベントを今回開催することにしました。海外では前から意識されていることでも、日本ではやっと追いついている感じなので、このイベントを通して日本人の方にも何か学んで欲しいという思い出このテーマを選びました。このイベントのインタビュー動画はVivaci TokyoのYouTubeに上がっているので、是非ご覧ください。
