Being a huge self-proclaimed beauty guru, I’m always on the lookout for new products that are compatible with my skin type. I actually don’t mind spending some extra $$ on a good product because 1) good skincare will show as you age and 2) I’m a model so I absolutely must take care of my skin no matter what. So with that said, here are my current go-to products to keep my skin fresh and glowing even during the cold winter months:
- Cleanser – Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is the best nighttime cleanser & makeup remover. Ever. It takes all the makeup, dirt and grim off completely, leaving my skin squeaky clean but not dried out. このクレンジングバームは、メイクも汚れも綺麗さっぱり洗い流してくれるので、欠かせないアイテムです。
- Toner – After cleansing, I refresh my face with Avene Thermal Spring Water, and afterwards, use a cotton pad to swipe on some Baraka Lotus Water Mist to tone my face. It’s made with 90% natural lot as extract, so it’s really soothing and refreshing, and smells heavenly! Aveneのサーマルウオーターで肌をリフレッシュさせ、BARAKAのロータスウオーターミストで残っている汚れをコットンパフを使って拭き取ります。
- Essence – This is actually a really crucial step. Essences are mainly used in Korean skincare, and the sales associate at one of the beauty shops in Korea town recommended this product so I had to try it. The purpose of the essence is to better absorb all products applied after. I can’t live without the TonyMoly Intense Care Galactomyces Lite Essence anymore – it’s changed my skincare game incredibly! TonyMolyのエッセンスは、新大久保のお店で店員さんに薦められ、使い始めましたが、肌の調子が本当に良くなりました！エッセンスは、その後のスキンケアをより良く浸透させてくれるので、こちらのステップも欠かせません。
- Serum/ face oil – I’ve tried many different serums, but Josie Maran’s 100% Pure Argan Oil Light has never failed me. Rub a drop or two between your hands to warm it up before applying. It doesn’t make my skin oily at all (I have combination skin) and it keeps my skin so moisturized. One bottle lasts a long time! 今まで様々なセラムやフェイスオイルを使ってきましたが、やはりシンプルなアルガンオイルが肌に一番良かったです。
- Eye cream – Zoe of Switzerland products are a new favorite, and I highly recommend their eye cream. As long as I get enough sleep at night, I never get puffy eyes or dark circles. Plus, it’s affordable! 最近Zoeの商品にハマっています。アイクリームはとてもお手頃で、ぜんぜんクマにならないです。
- Face cream/ moisturizer – I use two different creams, one in the morning and one at night. For daytime, I use Baraka Lotus Water Drop Cream, which is a gel-like moisturizer that also works as a primer. My makeup stays on so well throughout the day after I use this. And for night, I apply Zoe Apple Extra Rich Cream for extra moisture while I sleep. Again, this brand has very affordable and quality products which I love. 朝と夜は別々のクリームを使っています。朝はBARAKAのロータスウオータードロップクリームを愛用しています。ゲルタイプで、下地としてでも使えますよ。夜はZoeのアップルエキストラリッチクリームをたっぷり塗ります。
- Sunscreen – Kiehl’s products have always been a favorite of mine, and their sunscreens are the best I’ve used for my face. The Ultra Light Daily UV Defense Mineral Sunscreen is slightly tinted which I like. It glides on smoothly and perfect for the final step in my skincare routine. 最後に日焼け止め！キールズのサンケアはどれも塗りやすいので、オススメです。

I love reading what models use on their skin because, that’s the skin that we want to emulate and have! I follow a pretty strict skincare routine as well but I JUST ran out of toner and I keep hearing good things about that Avene one so I might just try it. Thanks for sharing!!

I haven’t used any of these products before except the Clinique Cleanser Balm but skincare is so important to me !
