GACKTRACKS Ultra DJ Remix Release Party

Hey loves, sorry I’ve been slightly MIA on the blog for a few days! Been a bit busy, but I’m so glad I was able to attend the GACKTRACKS Ultra DJ Remix Release party last night at the Shangri-La Hotel in Tokyo. For those of you who don’t know, GACKT is a very popular J-pop singer and actor, and for his newest album, he collaborated with many of the hottest DJ’s in Japan to create the ultimate remix CD. My producer Daichi Yokota was one of the DJ’s that participated in the album, and I mainly went to check out his set at the event. It was so cool to listen to the remix he created, and also one of the songs we’ve worked on! GACKT’s guitarist and bassist were hanging out with him during the set – pretty crazy! Huge congrats to Daichi 🙂

今日はGACKTさんのニューリミックスアルバム、「GACKTRACKS Ultra DJ Remix」が発売されましたよ！そこで、昨日のリリースイベントに行って来ました。シャングリラホテルで行われて、とてもお洒落な雰囲気のパーティーでした！このアルバムでは、日本のトップのDJ達が参加しているので、メインステージもものすごく盛り上がっていました！！私のプロデューサーの横田大地さんもDJとして参加していたので、応援に駆けつけました♪大地さんのGACKTリミックスはすごい評判がいいですよ！彼のセット中、GACKTさんのギタリストとベーシストも遊びに来てくれたので、大盛り上がり！アルバムを是非聴いてみて下さい！大地さん、大変お疲れさまでした！
