EDO for Night Nation Run in Japan

Performing my music in front of thousands of people has been a dream of mine since I was 12 years old. Last month, this little dream of mine came true at Night Nation Run in Japan, the first ever running music festival from the states. It took me a couple of weeks to get these photos together, but here it is. EDM unit EDO performed at their first music festival, and they invited me as their opening act, which was a huge honor to say the least. The song which lyrics I wrote with care, hoping I could send someone out there a message, an emotion, or just good vibes.

EDO’s set was a mix of club hits as well as their original remixes of Japanese traditional anthems, which really got the crowd going. Other artists included FEMM, Lucas Valentine, DJ MAKIDAI from EXILE and DJ DARUMA. The participants would go on a short marathon around the venue, and return to enjoy more awesome music. Thank you thank you thank for this amazing opportunity EDO and Night Nation Run Japan. And thank you so much to Asuka Takei for doing my hair & makeup, and for Anji of SALZ Tokyo for providing me with this sick kimono and vintage belt! Hoping the track will be released as a single soon!

何千人もの人の前で歌うのが、１２歳の時からの夢でした。先月、その小さな夢が叶いました。日本初上陸Night Nation Run in Japanで、マークパンサーさん含むユニットEDOと共にステージに立ち、オリジナルの曲を歌うことができ、本当に光栄です。オープニングで、自分が作詞した曲を歌う。その気持ちよさは言葉だけでは伝えられません。目の前の人に、メッセージ、エモーション、何かが伝わってたらいいなと、必死に歌いました。

その後のEDOも会場をめちゃ盛り上げていましたよ！クラブミュージックとEDOのオリジナルリミックスも回してました。他のアーティストさんも身近で見れて楽しかったです！FEMM, Lucas Valentine, DJ MAKIDAI とDJ DARUMAさん、お疲れ様でした！EDOとNight Nation Run Japanには、本当に本当に感謝しています。そして、ヘアメイクをしていただいたアスカさんと、着物とヴィンテージのベルトのスタイリングをしてくださったSALZ Tokyoのアンジーさんにめっちゃ感謝！！ありがとうございました！！この曲も、いつか公開できたらいいな、と思っています♪
