OUTFIT | JUST LIKE ME YOU CAN PLAY WORK LOVE

When one thinks of Tokyo, 90% of the time they imagine crowded, neon light-flashing streets of bustling Shibuya, Shinjuku or colorful Harajuku. But honestly, there is more to Tokyo than those tourist-favorite locations. Lisa of Paint with Stars and I share a liking for the more quiet and traditional areas in Tokyo, and Sugamo turned … Continue Reading

Cherry blossoms through my iPhone

Spring is so beautiful in Japan when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. I didn’t have my camera on me when I was in the Roppongi Midtown area, so I snapped a few photos on my iPhone. The blossoms there were a whitish pink, almost like snow. Pure bliss. 六本木ミッドタウンの桜が満開!カメラを持ち歩いてなかったので、iPhoneでパシャリ。日本の春はやっぱりいいな。

OUTFIT | Prepping for spring in sporty casual

Part deux of the weekend series, and finally sporting a spring-appropriate outfit! It took a while there… Anyways, if you’ve red my previous post, I introduced Pure Cafe and my blogger friend Yuka from Blossomlink, and here’s the outfit I wore to our brunch. OUTFIT | First signs of spring in Hibiya Park

It’s been a long, cold winter in Tokyo, but Hibiya Park hinted at the first signs of spring. There were even some adorable ume blossoms, and others about to blossom. This past week was unusually hectic for me, running around to my various gigs, and rain in between doesn’t help with that either. That’s … Continue Reading

A Valentine’s eve party at Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo

Happy Valentine’s Day! Last night, my managers from my agency invited me to a Valentine’s Eve Party at the Shangri-La Hotel in Marunouchi. A very fancy clubbing event at a fancy venue! One of my managers is also a DJ, and he spinned for about an hour as well. The view of Tokyo Station from … Continue Reading

A little black dress at the Imperial Hotel

Sometimes, even a girl like me enjoys getting dolled-up in a little black dress. Sheinside was kind enough to send me a LBD of my choice from my wishlist a little while back, and here it is. I thought this little dress would look better in a more refined setting, and the Imperial Hotel in Hibiya … Continue Reading

Modern and vintage vibes in Ochanomizu

I hope the weather stays this nice in Tokyo for the rest of winter. No matter how cold it gets, the sunlight always makes a difference. Even in pictures, it makes a huge difference. Lisa from Paint with Stars sure knows how to use the natural light to her advantage! This time, we trekked over … Continue Reading

the city that never sleeps

These were one of the first set of photos I took with my new Canon G7X, before I left for my vacation to California a month ago. A month ago… time really does go by quickly. Before you know it, it’s going to be summer again. Can’t wait to explore the city again with new … Continue Reading

Espirit Dior Tokyo After Party

Last night, I had the privilege of attending the Espirit Dior Tokyo After Party for the 2015 Pre-Fall Collection at the Kokugikan. I went with my friend Yuka, who is a community manager at Pinterest Japan and also blogger at Blossom Link. Kokugikan is actually the stadium for the sumo wrestling matches, but it was … Continue Reading
