Like steel

I’m excited to finally have a new outfit post for you guys! I had the pleasure of teaming up with Canadian photographer Jason Mordeno for an impromptu shoot in Shibuya. He is also the photographer who shot me in the blond wig in this post (photos coming soon!). I am so pleased with these photos … Continue Reading

Icona Pop in Tokyo

Yep, just saw them live tonight at the Womb Shibuya and I’m still trying to relive it. Icona Pop is a unit that you definitely need to see live. Their vocal abilities, stage presence, energy – it’s all there and my friends and I enjoyed every minute of their performance. Caroline seemed more the playful … Continue Reading

Busy streets of Shibuya

I had another fun shoot with Lisa this weekend in Shibuya. This alma mater jacket from my work is from Spring/Summer, but I paired it with some more recent Zara picks and my Converse hightops that I’ve owned since my university days.  Funny how they come in handy, like, 2 years later. I don’t know if … Continue Reading

From LA to Tokyo

Last night, I had dinner with my friend who is vising Tokyo from LA. We took a few modeling and acting classes together in LA, but I think this is the first time we actually met up outside of classes or work. I hadn’t seen her in over a year, so imagine all the catching … Continue Reading

Reunion!

Yesterday, I had a glorious reunion with one of my best friends from SoCal. It’s hard to realize that it’s been a year since I last saw him.. time flies so quickly. Anyways, we had a late lunch/dessert with his friends at Bubby’s in Yokohama Landmark Tower (their apple pie was superb!), and my friend and … Continue Reading

Hip-hop scene

Today, I had a Shibuya hip-hop adventure with Sonny B, a song-writer and rapper based in Tokyo. I’m so glad our mutual friend made the connection because he introduced me to an area in Shibuya that I didn’t know existed – colorful graffiti walls, a hip hop record & clothing stores. Glorious way to … Continue Reading

Christmas-ing in Shibuya

I enjoyed a lovely Christmas evening in Shibuya with my friend Kellie (yes, also my co-worker!). She introduced me to Cafe Manduka, which serves boba drinks and other delicious desserts. And, yes, we did our shopping beforehand and also proceeded to do even more shopping afterwards. This is something I never did in the states … Continue Reading

Can’t get enough

A jumble of photos from the past few days. Can’t get enough of Forever 21, an abundance of Hello Kitty, Pasela caramel toast, Pain Petit Pas french toast dessert on Omotesando, scored a pair of cute heels at H&M, and my first time ever at Topshop! I was beyond excited. And one more  – a pretty sunset.

A treat

Shibuya day 2.Today,  I was able to explore other parts of the city with a friend. More good food, more shopping. The cake is from a fancy cafe called comme ca. Doesn’t it remind you of gelato? We also randomly passed by Opening Ceremony and there was a live radio broadcast called `Go! Hunt My … Continue Reading

Harajuku & Shibuya

Started my week off right by hanging out at Harajuku and Shibuya, 2 of the best places to shop in Tokyo. I met up with a girlfriend I hadn’t seen in 10 years, and she showed me around 🙂 We stopped by Harajuku first, and I spent a while at the Forever 21- the inventory is … Continue Reading
